The problem

Loyalty programmes usually mean another app nobody installs. Putting the card in the wallet the customer already carries removes that objection, but it moves the difficulty onto the merchant side: issuing and updating passes, running programmes, billing, and meeting whatever systems each merchant already uses.

What we built

A platform issuing loyalty passes to Google and Apple Wallet, with a merchant portal for running programmes, an admin console, subscription billing, a developer API with keys and webhooks, and an integration hub for POS, email and CRM systems.

The long version

Built and launching. The platform is complete and going live rather than running at scale, so there are no results to report yet. This study says what was built, and will carry outcomes when there are real ones to carry.

The design bet is that a loyalty card belongs in the wallet the customer already has rather than in an app they have to be persuaded to install. That moves the engineering onto the merchant side: issuing and updating passes, managing programmes, billing merchants, and meeting whatever POS, email and CRM systems each merchant already runs through one integration hub rather than a bespoke build per merchant.
